Registration

Registration Fee
A non-refundable registration fee of $75 ($50 for church members) is due when registration papers are submitted.

Supply Fee
There is a $65 one-time supply fee collected at the beginning of each school year. Supplies include markers, crayons, glue, glue sticks, snacks, milk, and any craft or teaching supplies teachers may use throughout the year. At the end of the school year, supplies are sent home with each child.

Deposit
A $150 Deposit is due at registration to hold your child’s spot. This deposit will go towards your child’s first month’s tuition. As of Tuesday, April 1, 2025, the $150 deposit will be non-refundable. Therefore, Monday, March 31, 2025, will be the last day to withdraw from the program and have the deposit refunded.

Monthly Tuition Rate
Tuition for the full year is $3,408 (71 days) for 2-days a week and $5,136 (107 days) for 3-days a week (excludes all fees). There are 10 monthly payments (August-May). Tuition is not waived for days missed due to illness or vacation.

Inclement Weather
Creation Corner has allotted for three unexpected school closings due to illness or inclement weather. Should we be closed for more than three days, you will be reimbursed for the fourth day and all subsequent days..

Class Assignments
Class assignments are based on the date the registration fee is received and the availability of openings for a given age. If a child is not immediately placed within the program, he/she will be held on an active waiting list for the first available opening. Children applying mid-year will be placed as openings arise, monthly tuition is due on the first day of attendance. Each classroom has two trained teachers.

Wait List
A child registered and accepted in the 3-day program is registered as a permanent student attending each week. When all permanent slots are filled, a waiting list will be established for each class. A 3-day program registered child’s parent will receive an introductory call from the child's teacher in early August.

In case of withdrawal, a two-week written notice is required. Tuition fees will be refunded after the two-week notification.

Children currently registered are required to re-register every school year. During registration periods, priority will be given to current students and their siblings.

Creation Corner (CC) does not discriminate against children of any race, color, Nationality, ethnic origin, or social status for admission. CC is a ministry of First Baptist Church O’Fallon which is  founded on the principles of Christian faith. Parents and/or Legal Guardians will be expected to abide by the statement of faith detailed in the Parent Handbook by signing the Parent Pledge of acceptance without mental reservation. The program reserves the right, within its sole discretion, to refuse admission of an applicant or to discontinue enrollment of a child or staff member if the atmosphere or conduct within a particular home or the activities of the child/staff are counter to or are in opposition to the statement of Faith. Substantial disagreement with program policies or philosophy is sufficient for dismissal of a child after enrollment.

Because we are concerned for the safety and health of each child, we ask that parents do not bring their child to Creation Corner Preschool if one or more of the following symptoms are present:

● Unusual fatigue or irritability

● Coughing, sneezing, runny nose, or obvious cold symptoms

● Fever of 100° or higher within 24 hours

● Vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours

● Mouth sores, unless Child’s Physician confirms it is noninfectious

● Rash with fever or behavior change, unless child’s physician confirms it is noninfectious

● Conjunctivitis (Yellow-Green eye discharge with redness) until 24 hours after treatment first begins

● Impetigo, until 24 hours after treatment first begins

● Strep Throat, until 24 hours after treatment first begins and 24 hours fever free

● Head Lice & Scabies, until the morning after the first treatment

● Childhood illnesses: Chicken Pox (6 days after onset of rash); Whooping Cough (5 days of antibiotic treatment complete); Mumps (9 days after onset of swelling); Measles (4 days after rash clears); Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease (all spots must be completely scabbed over, which could take 7 days or longer)

● Symptoms which may be indicative of a serious communicable illness

Should any of the symptoms mentioned above be detected in a child, the teacher will ask the parents to take the child home. If an injury or illness is detected in the child after arrival, teachers will alert the Creation Corner Office so they can alert the parents for an immediate pick-up. If the Creation Corner Office is unable to contact parents, the office will call the emergency contacts for an immediate pick-up.
