My child is on the waitlist. What does that mean?
The waitlist begins with enrollment. As classes become full, students will be called in order of the waitlist as spots open. Families will have 24 hours to decide to take the next available spot in a classroom before admin moves to the next name.
How many teachers are in each class?
FBA’s Creation Corner has 2 teachers in the classroom at all times.
Cost for 2-Day? 3-Day? 5-day?
2-Day Tuition- $3,500 total
3-Day Tuition- $5,200 total
Are your teachers CPR certified?
All Creation Corner staff are CPR, AED, and First Aid certified and are required to keep their certification up to date.
What curriculum do you use?
We use WEE Learn by LifeWay. It's a Bible based curriculum that encourages students to learn and develop their skills. Our 5-day program uses Bob Jones Curriculum for PREK4, making the transition to FBA’s Kindergarten easier for our youngest learners.
Are you a "play to learn" program?
While we do play and have fun, we are not a play to learn program. We are structured and have set times for play. However, we do have games to play that go with our lesson plans and try to keep things fun for the kids while they're still learning their lessons.
What are "Specials"?
Specials are a focused time on Music, Language, and Science. All classes will have the following schedule:
Tuesday - Music: Children will sing songs, learn about different instruments, and learn music to sing for our Spring event "Spring Sing".
Wednesday - Language: (3-day classes only) Each month has a different author for the children to learn about.
Thursday - Science: Teachers will do small, age appropriate experiments with children. Teachers will teach that God made the whole universe (Genesis 1-2) which includes ourselves, our 5 senses, rocks, plants, insects, and sea animals.
What state aid (e.g. CHASSI) do you accept?
We do not have resources to accept state aid at this time.
Do you offer anything for children with special needs?
We do not offer Occupational or Speech Therapy. Children with special needs must be screened prior to enrollment to ensure we are a good fit for your child's needs.
How do I receive a statement for taxes?
Statements will be available online through your FACTS account. You will have the option to email or print it for yourself.
How do I pay tuition?
Tuition is paid online through the FACTS system. A link will be sent to you once you have completed the enrollment process.
How does the Creation Corner office communicate with parents?
FBACC office staff will communicate through various mediums such as email and Class Dojo and phone calls. Information will be shared via Facebook and Class Dojo.
What's the protocol for "late drop-offs" and "early pick-ups"?
Late drop-off: Inform your child's teachers if you'll be late. When you arrive, you'll take your child to the "East Entrance". The receptionist will let office staff know you've arrived. Office staff will take your child to his or her class.
Early pick-up: Inform your child's teachers if you'll be picking your child up early. When you arrive, you'll go to the "KidsLife Entrance" and call the office by pressing "5512" on the keypad. Office staff will bring your child out to you.
